Dear members,
I appreciate the efforts being made by JY community to fight COVID-19 all across the world.
Due to this reason, young people are facing a lot of issues like:
- Isolation and loneliness
- Issues with parents and relationships
- Handling online academic workload: Classes, Assignments and Exams
- Social media addiction and Screen time effects
- Anxiousness, nervousness and worries about the future - education, job etc.
- Keeping up physical, mental and sexual health in times of COVID-19 among many others
Some of these issues are never discussed by anyone and young people find themselves in a difficult situation and feel that no one can understand them.
This webinar will try to address the above issues and our panelists will also try to answer questions posed by young people through registration form and during the live event.
I hope you all are doing well. The Lockdown 3.0 is here and young people in India and around the globe are getting more distressed about their future.
Out of the total population of students enrolled in education globally, UNESCO estimates that over 89% are currently out of school because of COVID-19 closures. This represents 1.54 billion children and youth enrolled in school or university, including nearly 743 million girls.
To address these issues, we have come up with an online webinar on May 8, 2020 from 11 AM to 11.45 AM for young people across India and the world.
This webinar will try to address the above issues and our panelists will also try to answer questions posed by young people through registration form and during the live event.
Please find the attached posters and register your interest and share it with prospective youth in your network using hashtag #youngpeoplefightingcovid19.
Take care, stay safe, stay put.
